Dying Testimony

So I had my last zone conference and I gave my "dying testimony". So weird! It is strange to me cause people keep saying, wow you go home soon and there is not much time left, but for me it still really hasn't sunk in. there is lots of time left and lots still to do. I got to hear the dying testimonies of A LOT of missionaries, 8 out of the 12 of us that are finishing the mission are in the Rome and L'aquila zones so we were all together for zone conference. Sister Crandal and sister Hansen were there to represent us sisters and then 5 other elders.

I am so super grateful for my mission. I really really am. It is super hard to explain just how grateful I am. I said to someone the other day that I know I would have been just fine if I didn't serve a mission, you don't know, what you don't know you don't know, ha ha does that make sense? if I had never gone on a mission I wouldn't know what I was missing but since I have been here I just feel like my perspective is wider and my life has more depth. I am not saying that everyday is a dream come true...but I can say that the ones that are make everything so worth it.
For example the other day we were teaching English class in the far away town and me and my two students spent the entire time reading from the book of Mormon and discussing the church... it was so amazingly beautiful I didn't want it to end. I love this gospel and I love the book of Mormon. God really does love each of us so much, but if we don't understand or recognize that love, this life can be pretty grim.
On Sunday we had a really wonderful lesson in young womens about the temple. I love the temple! I really am super excited to be able to go to the temple again when I return home, and I feel so much love and respect for the saints here in Italy who travel so far to attend the temple. I am so anxious for them to be able to enjoy the temple that is on its way. They are too. you can just feel it.
