Conferenza Generale!

So I have a new companion. Her name is Sorella Stephenson from fruit heights Utah. She is pretty much amazing and I still don't know how I have lucked out time after time to have so many awesome companions, and to think that I was warned by so many people about all the weird misfit girls who serve missions.... ok I wont get on my soap box about sister missionaries. needless to say I am grateful for each and every companion I have had and all I have learned from each and every one. I have a lot to learn from sister Stephenson in these next 6 weeks and I am excited for all the miracles we are sure to see. She is 24 and very neat and organized. I think mom would really like her alot because there is never a single dish in the sink. even if I set one there for a minute to go use the bathroom when I come back it is washed and put away. She graduated from BYU with a degree in music dance theater and lived in New York for a year before the mission working for a Broadway director.... yeah so I think that gives a pretty good description...

Our first day together there was also a baptism for an investigator of the elders named Maria. It was at the last possible minute right before two of the missionaries finished their missions and flew home the following day. The Elders had asked me and my companion to do a musical number and then sorella zeller was transferred so when me and sister Stephenson got together I told her that we would be doing the music number at the baptism that evening, and that due to appointments and a really scheduled out day we wouldn't really have time to practice much... ha ha luckily she is good with music and we were able to just throw something together without problems.

That same day as we were traveling from transfer circles to our apartment it was so ridiculous because we had her three heavy suitcases and not even joking we went up and down like 5 sets of stairs! when we finally got to a place where there was an escalator it was broken! It was too funny. we got home tired and sore! ok not that bad, but still, I am glad that I will only have to lug luggage across this city one more time, and actually because I am super spoiled I can probably just talk the senior missionaries into taking my luggage in the car at the end of my mission.

This week we have enjoyed some really really good south American food, and it is funny but I think that at least half of the recipes I have learned on my mission are from other countries. don't worry I will still make you all some pasta when I get home, but I might also make some empanadas, arepas and guasacaca.. yum!

Last Sunday I translated for relief society and I got to use the cool little walky talky thing while all those listening wore headphones. It was kinda fun. I decided I kinda like translating cause I can say what ever I want... don't worry I am not changing the lessons!

Well i love you all so much! This is sure to be a great week!!!! I hope you are happy and that you are all as excited for general conference as I am! take good notes!!

I love empanadas! I ate them all the time in Uruguay. I learned how to make them once...but I never have.
