It's A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood!

Hi ya'll! It's another wonderful p-day, which means it's time for another lovely update from me.

Last Tuesday we had F. Enzio Buche come and speak. He is such an amazing man! seriously his life sounds chalked full of spiritual experiences. I think someone said he has a biography I don't know what it is called, or if I even spelt his name right, but if you are ever looking for a good book, I would recommend it, because I enjoyed his talk that much.

Me and my companion chated with a guy at the RC this week. The RC is the place where we go and make phonecalls or chat with people who click on the chat link on the church website who want to know more about the church. It was pretty cool. We talked to this guy Ken, in california who has been investigating the church and taking mission discussions, but he had found some stuff on the internet and was concerned about our church. We talked with him and encouraged him and gave him scriptures and it was such an awesome experince, we had to set up a return appointment cause we ran out of time, but the next day we talked to him, we both felt he was on the right track. It was a neat experience.

Friday was our halfway day in the MTC and one of the girls in our room got a half way day package with sparkling cider. we had a good little snack time party before bed, it was fun. I can't believe I've been here a full month!

We get 17 new missionaries this week!!! crazy! only 3 of the 17 are sisters and everyone is going to the Milan mission except for 3 elders. That's a big crowd for Milan! We get excited for new missionaries!

Sunday was great me and Sorella Watson taught district meeting (like sunday school). And sacrament meeting was good too. I haven't been called on to speak yet, but I am feel it could be coming soon. Yikes! a 5 minute talk in Italian. Oh well It's good for me right? and who knows maybe I won't get called on at all, with 17 new missionaries coming in. Me and sorella Hansen are singing in our district sacrament meeting on Sunday and all of the Sorelli from our district are supposed to sing in our zone conference on Satureday. Hmm... I'll let you know how it goes.

Oh We SYL'd for have a day on Saturday. (speak your Languag). It was hard/fun. I can't believe how much Italian I have learned already. I memorized the first vision. I was pretty excited about that!
