Christmas went well. Me and Sorella Hughes and Maero spent the day with the Sommerfeldts (senior couple) and it was really fun just relaxing and such. We open presents and ate yummy food and yeah it was great. The night before we even acted out the Christmas story and I got to be Joseph since I was one of the taller ones there, ha ha lucky me. I also had a good conversation with Mom and dad and a few words with trent and aub. It is so good to hear from home!
For Christmas from the Acersons, sister Acerson had put together a book of conversion stories for us. We all submitted different conversion stories we had witnessed or been apart of whether they were our own, a family member, or someone we've taught. I have been reading them over these last few days and I am so touched with the love of our Father in heaven and all the ways he is preparing people for this glorious gospel. I know that we all have the opportunity to be instruments in God's hands for helping those who don't know of God's plan, to come unto Christ and even with all our weaknesses and inadequacies the Lord knows just how to use us.
Louisa received the Holy Ghost this Sunday and I am just so happy for her and I pray that she can stay strong and really build up her testimony. There are some other really really awesome investigators I am working with right now and I hope that they too will be able to see the beauty of this gospel and follow Louisa's lead to baptism.
I am short winded today. Sorry, I am finding that to be a trend lately. I hope you are all well and that you had a wonderful Christmas and that you have a great new years as well.
Vi voglio Bene!!!
P.S. Here are some pictures- they aren't the best, but oh well. The first one is me and the Rome 3 Sisters: Sorella Maero and Sorella Hughes, the middle photo is a picture of me finding the picture of my trainer in the Rome 3 apartment, and the last one is of Louisa's baptism.
